From the earliest years, it’s vital to impart the significance of green choices to our youngsters. The shift toward eco-conscious selections, especially over plastic alternatives, is a pressing priority. In light of this, in 2023, Abhishek, with a master’s in mechanical engineering, and Anvika, a chartered accountant, initiated “Cridanti” — a brand dedicated to crafting sustainable, non-toxic, and robust wooden playthings. “Cridanti,” echoing the Sanskrit for “Let’s play,” offers a best quality toy collection.
Cridanti’s raw materials are sourced sustainably by ensuring that the wood is procured of trees fallen naturally and not due to deforestation. Also, we have under taken tree planting initiatives that have added over 1000 trees to our planet in just three years.
Anvi Trade World and Laksheco Pvt Ltd, two leading companies, are responsibly undertaking the marketing and manufacturing of Cridanti products.
Cridanti is more than just a business; it’s a testament to the possibility of providing eco-friendly, secure, and cost-effective wooden toys for all, heralding a future where playtime and planet care go hand in hand.
Our Mission
For discerning parents, healthful choices for their children are paramount. Research has highlighted the hazards posed by unverified toys, which may contain harmful substances leading to adverse health impacts over time. Cridanti’s commitment to safety is evident through their BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification, guaranteeing the use of harmless materials. Their production facility in Sindhudurg, within Maharashtra’s scenic Konkan belt, not only utilizes local, untreated wood but also fosters community employment, maintaining hygiene from crafting to packaging. We aim to help creating childhood memories that can be preserved for generations by providing sturdy, long lasting, high quality, durable products.
Our Vision
In an era pivoting towards ecological preservation, Cridanti has embraced wooden materials, countering the global reliance on plastics which are produced at a staggering rate of 500 million tonnes annually. Alarming forecasts suggest a 900% spike in plastic production from 1980 to 2020, and by 2050, our oceans may have more plastic than fish. Hence, our goal is to reduce the use of plastic and have a plastic free environment.
